Position will be responsible for the management and development of the Northwest Ohio service team consisting of 8 - 10 Account Managers. Service Manager will be accountable for ensuring workflows and processes are followed and that quality service is provided to client and carriers.
Requirements:
- Meets with Account Managers to agree upon goals and performance standards to ensure alignment and gain agreement
- Represents agency as product expert by staying current of changes, trends and opportunities within the industry
- Utilize available automation and software applications following proper procedures including document management, RightFax, CBD Doc, and the agency management system
- Takes ownership of customer (internal and external) questions and problems with resolution within 1 business day of receiving the data in order to make an informed response
- Complete annual performance evaluations
- Hire/Terminate/Train staff
Will Ensure that Account Managers:
- Follow required service standards (appointments, service requirements, standards of excellence, strategy / agendas, etc.)
- Coordinate and communicate with the producer on open issues and account status
- Provides feedback to the department manager for review and resolution, any carrier issues identified
- Deliver of renewal recommendations within established time frame
- Obtain data required in order to finalize the renewal process
- Prepares and submits quote requests and tracks timely receipt
- Prepares proposal for delivery to client by Producer
- Implement policy order once renewal order has been received from the client
- Process policies in accordance with established procedures
- Identify add on lines of business and implement where possible
- Seek referrals and provide to other divisions
- Assist the producer as requested with prospects
- Update policy information throughout the year per established standards
- Maintain client contact data, carriers and other pertinent information within the agency management system
- Enter activities per the established guidelines and provide timely follow up to open activities
- Utilize the document management system and naming conventions as defined within the workflow procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience Supervising EB Service teams
- 6+ years of experience servicing EB accounts
- Active Ohio Life/Health Broker's license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer savvy (Microsoft Office)
